Cat tries to steal food from table in Medellín, Colombia

On April 9, 2026, in Medellín, Colombia, @hernandarioboneth shared a video capturing a funny moment involving a cat during lunchtime at home. In the video, Maria Lucena Ramírez Gómez, 68 years old, is seen eating at a table while her family is present, including Hernán Darío Boneth Ramírez, 32 years old. A cat sits on the table and slowly reaches toward the plate, attempting to grab food playfully and sneakily. According to the author, the cat should not be encouraged to eat human food, especially anything with too much salt, as it can affect its kidneys, similar to dogs. They added that the cat usually does not eat that kind of food and prefers raw meat, its own food, or moist meats. However, when offered, it tends to refuse and seems to enjoy food more when it is “stolen.”
