Hay whirlwind spins across harvested field in Kaçanik, Kosovo

On June 26, 2026, in Dubravë, Kaçanik, Kosovo, @baftivishi1 shared a video of a hay whirlwind sweeping across a recently harvested field. In the video, a large amount of dried hay is lifted high into the air, forming a towering rotating column over the open countryside. Hundreds of loose pieces of hay swirl upward as the spinning vortex moves across the field. According to reports, local farmers were harvesting hay during a period of hot, dry weather when a dust devil formed over the sun-heated ground. The rotating updraft picked up the loose hay and carried it into the air, creating the unusual spectacle captured on video.
