Wildfire lights up night sky in Águeda, Portugal

According to reports, the blaze originally broke out at around 3:04 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, in the neighboring municipality of Vouzela, Viseu District. Fueled by extreme heatwave temperatures and strong winds, the fire rapidly expanded into multiple active fire fronts, affecting nearby areas including Águeda. The footage captures the changing conditions as the wildfire continues burning from night into the following day.
