Occurred: July 6, 2026 | Location: Valencia, Spain | Category: News

On July 26, 2026, in Valencia, Spain, @diosadelajungla shared a video of a fast-moving brush fire burning near the Oceanogràfic and the El Saler area. In the video, a massive plume of dark smoke rises behind the curved structure of the Oceanogràfic as flames spread through dry vegetation near the City of Arts and Sciences. According to reports, the fire broke out in a field along Camí Nou del Salinar and quickly produced a large smoke column visible across much of Valencia. As a precaution, authorities temporarily closed the V-15 entrance into the city and suspended tram service while firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control. Six fire crews were deployed, and the fire was later contained before it could spread further.
