Water bomber drops water on wildfire in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, Madrid, Spain

On July 28, 2026, in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, Madrid, Spain, @alejandrosx61 shared a video of a water bomber plane dropping water on a wildfire. In the video, several people stand near the fire while some wave their hands toward the approaching aircraft. As the water bomber flies overhead, it releases a large load of water onto the burning area. The falling water briefly creates a rainbow before reaching the ground. After the drop, the people, including the author Claudio Alejandro 41-years old, move toward the area where the water landed. As the author continues filming, several people begin shoveling soil onto small remaining flames to help extinguish the fire. The footage captures the coordinated firefighting effort following the water drop.
