Boy tries to feed monkeys before they surround him in La Maná, Ecuador

On August 11, 2026, in La Maná, Ecuador, @kathevivi1 shared a video of an intense moment showing a boy trying to feed monkeys near a water stream. In the video, the boy sits on a large rock and tries to feed a monkey in front of him, but the monkey does not move from its spot. When another monkey notices the boy, it walks behind him and starts pushing him on the back. As the boy continues trying to give the food to the monkey in front of him, the other monkey repeatedly pushes him from behind. Moments later, more monkeys gather in front of the boy while the monkey behind him continues pushing him. The boy then slowly tries to move away from the monkeys and eventually manages to climb back. The footage captures the tense interaction as the boy becomes surrounded by the monkeys.
