Truck pulls down overhead cables and destroys market stalls in Cuiabá, Brazil

As the truck moved down the avenue, its tall cargo compartment caught the wires and dragged them down, pulling down a kiosk and several market stalls along the central median and damaging parts of a large tree. The incident also damaged electrical and telecommunications infrastructure, leaving nearby residents and businesses without power. According to reports, the cables were already dangerously low following an earlier accident that brought down a utility pole.
