Hungry shrimp rush to grab food in a home aquarium in Chongqing, China

On October 20, 2026, in Chongqing, China, @Yáoyīyáo shared a video capturing a humorous feeding moment in a home aquarium. In the video, a small shrimp climbs along the inside glass wall of the tank as food is introduced. Nearby, a goldfish swims toward the feeding area while another smaller shrimp approaches to grab a piece of food before quickly swimming away. Decorative freshwater snails and white aquarium accessories can be seen resting on the bottom of the tank as the aquatic pets gather around the food. According to the author, the shrimp and fish were finally receiving their relief rations after being left hungry for three days. The food was ordinary fish food, but their eager response made the feeding look like a long-awaited distribution of emergency supplies.
