On October 24, 2026, in Rossnowlagh, Donegal, Ireland, @johndinsmore shared footage showing a silver SUV being battered by powerful waves during Storm Boelo. In the video, the vehicle sits at an angle near a rocky coastal barrier as foaming seawater surges around it and rises over much of the car. Repeated waves crash against the SUV, threatening to sweep it farther into the sea. According to reports, the vehicle became stranded in soft sand after its occupants drove onto Rossnowlagh Beach during low tide and misjudged the incoming tide. As Storm Boelo brought strong winds and rough seas to the coast, rising water engulfed the SUV. The occupants reportedly escaped safely before conditions worsened, but the vehicle was destroyed by the waves and seawater.
