Child gets soaked while trying to escape a roller coaster splash in Jiangsu, China

On October 18, 2026, in Jiangsu, China, @Liújùnxī shared a video of a mishap involving a child at an amusement park. In the video, the author watches as a roller coaster approaches the water to make a splashdown. When the ride plunges into the water, it sends a large splash toward the designated shelter area. As the water splashes over the zone, a child runs toward the shelter but fails to get inside in time to avoid the spray, ending up completely soaked before reaching cover. The sudden wave catches the child just before they can get to safety, turning the attempt to avoid the splash into an unexpected soaking.
