On October 25, 2026, in Guangdong, China, @Kǒushuǐshōuyīshōu shared a funny video of a white egret attempting to perch on lily pads floating on the water. In the video, the bird lands on a lily pad, but the leaf begins sinking under its weight, forcing it to fly away and find another spot. The same thing happens when it tries a second lily pad, which also starts sinking beneath it. On its next attempt, the egret manages to remain perched for a few seconds before the leaf gradually sinks again, leaving the bird searching for a more stable place to rest.
