Snow blankets a North Pole-themed Halloween display in Truckee, California, USA

On October 31, 2026, in Truckee, California, USA, @tahoechappy shared a video showing a festive Halloween display transformed by an unexpected snowfall. In the video, a North Pole-themed setup features holiday decorations and warm string lights dusted with fresh snow. A line of yellow lights winds across the snow-covered ground toward a “NORTH POLE” sign beside a decorated white canopy and other festive displays. Falling snow and illuminated decorations create a cozy winter atmosphere beneath the cold, snowy sky. According to the author, the homeowners in Glenshire appeared to have decorated for a North Pole-style Halloween, jokingly asking who had told them it would snow for Halloween 2026.
