Giraffe playfully reaches for willow leaves with its long tongue at Shijiazhuang Zoo in Hebei, China

On August 10, 2026, in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China, @ViolentLittleDoraemon shared an amusing video of a giraffe stretching its exceptionally long neck upward to reach leaves from a willow tree at Shijiazhuang Zoo. In the video, the giraffe tilts its head completely backward, extending its long, dark prehensile tongue toward the overhanging branches. As it tries to reach the willow leaves, its tongue playfully touches the tips of the dangling foliage. The unusual, straight-on camera angle captures the underside of its head, including its ossicones, ears, and distinctive facial features, while its patterned neck extends vertically through the frame. The giraffe continues reaching toward the leaves with its tongue, creating an amusing close-up of the animal's playful interaction with the tree.
