On August 23, 2025, in Lacey, Washington, USA, @imansarmy shared a heartwarming video of a community-organized birthday surprise for a young girl named Imani. In the video, a procession of cars arrives to celebrate her birthday, with community members bringing gifts, kindness, and messages of love in honor of her late father, Iman Shabazz, whom they had never personally met. According to the author, Imani had repeatedly expressed that all she wanted for her birthday was her father, who passed away on October 21, 2023, following complications from injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento, California, on April 1, 2021. Wanting to keep her husband's memory alive and bring comfort to their daughter, the author reached out on social media, and a local car group responded by organizing the surprise. The author expressed gratitude to everyone who participated, explaining that their kindness helped remind Imani that her father's love and memory continue to bring people together.
