Leopard tries to interact with a harnessed Asian leopard cat through zoo glass in Sichuan, China

On November 4, 2026, in Sichuan, China, @Yīqúnhúhóu shared an amusing video of an encounter between a leopard and an Asian leopard cat at a zoo. In the video, a small, heavily spotted Asian leopard cat wearing a pink harness and leash stands on its hind legs, looking through a thick glass viewing panel at a large, full-grown leopard inside its enclosure. The leopard approaches the glass, bares its teeth, and repeatedly paws at the transparent barrier as if trying to reach the smaller feline. Unable to make contact, the leopard continues pawing at the glass while the Asian leopard cat climbs onto the concrete ledge in front of the viewing panel, prompting the larger cat to move closer and continue its attempts to interact.
