On October 20, 2026, in Ghisonaccia, Corsica, France, @Cyril_H_CVDL shared a video showing severe flash flooding after torrential rainfall. In the video, a powerful torrent of muddy brown water completely covers the road, rushing rapidly across the driving surface and spilling over the roadside embankments. Heavy rain reduces visibility in the surrounding wooded area, while a metal electricity transmission tower stands beside the flooded road. Farther ahead, a yellow vehicle or piece of construction machinery appears partially submerged near a bridge or roadside barrier. According to reports, torrential rainfall associated with Storm Adam caused rivers in Corsica, including the Fium’Orbu River, to overflow and inundate nearby roads.
