On October 23, 2026, in Guangzhou, China, @Xióngláimǐguǎngzhōushítǐdiàn shared a video of a hamster trapped inside a ceramic candlestick holder decorated with a floral design. In the video, the author holds the yellow-based ceramic ornament over a wastebasket and carefully taps its bottom with a metal hammer to break it open. The hamster is stuck inside the narrow, stem-like section and eventually pokes its head through the top opening but is unable to squeeze out. The author continues breaking the ceramic until the opening is large enough to gently remove the hamster from the bottom, finally freeing the little pet from its unusual predicament.
