On October 14, 2026, in Zhejiang, China, @Jiāngzǐshuìbùxǐng shared a dashcam video showing a near-miss and a collision on a highway at night. In the video, the author moves to the side to avoid an out-of-control vehicle approaching from behind. The vehicle veers toward a truck and collides with it before swerving left and crashing into the road barrier. The author then moves to the right and stops safely. According to the author, the incident nearly resulted in another crash because the ET9's intelligent driving system unexpectedly took control of the steering wheel while they were trying to avoid the approaching vehicle. The author claimed that a Buick traveling at approximately 130 km/h changed lanes while following too closely and alleged that a malfunction in the ET9's human-machine co-driving disengagement mechanism contributed to the incident.
