Workers rescue kitten stranded on a high overpass ledge in Shandong, China

On October 26, 2026, in Weifang, Shandong, China, @Cáo shared a video showing workers rescuing a small kitten stranded on a high concrete ledge of an overpass. In the footage, a worker standing inside an elevated crane bucket reaches toward the kitten while another worker operates the yellow cherry-picker truck positioned on the road below. After reaching the kitten, the worker carefully places it in a sack before slowly lowering the bucket. Once back on the ground, the kitten is safely removed from the sack. According to the author, the workers could not figure out how the kitten had reached the ledge. They searched the surrounding area but could not find a way it could have climbed up. The author also praised a man wearing a white shirt for paying out of his own pocket to hire a vehicle to help rescue the kitten.
