Labrador gets into a standoff with a realistic fake dog over a food bowl in Guangdong, China

On October 25, 2026, in Guangdong, China, @Orange shared a funny video of a Labrador Retriever reacting to a highly realistic fake dog placed beside its food bowl. In the video, the light-colored Labrador stands protectively over a bowl of kibble, baring its teeth and growling at what appears to be another dog. However, the supposed intruder is actually a realistic prop showing a dog's head and upper body. The Labrador becomes increasingly agitated by the imitation, growling and drooling as it guards its meal. According to the author, the two appeared to reach a stalemate before the Labrador finally engaged with the lifelike prop.
