Two teens caught taking Halloween candy bowl after a brief chase in Missouri, USA

On October 31, 2025, in Jefferson City, Missouri, USA, a security video captured two teenage trick-or-treaters taking a bowl of candy from a home. Homeowner Abigail Mallicoat, 24 years old, had placed the bowl outside for visiting children at around 5 p.m. About 30 minutes later, two 15-year-olds, nicknamed the Shiesty Boys, were seen taking both the candy and the bowl. After noticing that the bowl was missing, Abigail, her boyfriend, Michael Hernandez, their dog, Alphi Mallicoat, and their friend, Grace Randolph, went out to look for the teenagers. In the video, the group is seen searching for the teenagers and eventually catching up with them to recover the bowl, with only two handfuls of candy missing. According to the homeowner, she had been excited to prepare treats for children in Halloween costumes but watched the festivities from inside because of a health condition. She described the incident as a little harmless chase and explained that the bowl belonged to her mother, who had lent it to her for her first Halloween candy giveaway.
