On November 3, 2026, in Jiangxi, China, @Xīngqíliù shared a video of a clever homemade rescue operation involving a cat stranded on a corrugated metal roof. In the video, the cat stands on the wavy rooftop, looking upward toward a window as its owner lowers a makeshift rescue basket from an upper floor. The basket appears to be made from a recycled insulated bag, with thick ropes secured to its handles and connected to a long lifting rope. The owner carefully maneuvers the suspended bag, trying to encourage the cat to climb inside, while the cat initially struggles to enter. After several attempts, the bag bends and opens wider, allowing the cat to finally get inside. The owner then gradually pulls the basket upward, successfully bringing the cat to safety. According to the author, the Ragdoll cat had been calling out for help.
