On November 1, 2026, in Guangdong, China, @Niúnǎipàofúnuòmǐdòudòu shared an amusing video of three pet birds interacting closely. In the video, two monk parakeets with different color mutations sit side by side, one with bright yellow feathers and the other with blue-grey plumage. Both birds appear to have their eyes closed or squinted as they huddle together. As the author makes a sound, the blue-grey parakeet repeatedly responds with an unusual, loud noise resembling an evil laugh, while its yellow companion replies with shorter chirps. Meanwhile, a fluffy white cockatoo sitting nearby watches the two smaller birds as if observing their unusual exchange. According to the author, the mischievous little monk parakeet is quite cunning.
